Thu, 25 September 2008 I apologize for not getting up a show recently. But I've been involved in a new project. Believe it or not it's not another vanity project. I started a lil sum sum on the side to help generate some additional income. Cause I'm poor. Okay not really poor, not living in a cardboard box poor. But things are tighter that usual, so I'd like to make a little more breathing room. It's called Draw Sumthin cool. drawsumthincool
People send it requests, I draw it in my own special way and for $20 (w/$2 S&H so really...$22.00) they get their own special piece of art to go on the mantle or their cubical. If you like what you see in the gallery feel free to buy something. Category: general -- posted at: 9:43 PM Comments[0] |

Wed, 11 June 2008 My god. Check out this embed. I love Weezer. More and more everyday. I saw this on Epic-Fu. This a great video. They take all these great videos that you have probably have seen on YouTube and mashed them all together in a video. I think some there are some musicians who really get it and understand what it takes to thrive in this New Media world. It is starting to trickle down to some other bands to figure out how to adapt or shrivel away, but then we have those who are holding out. (I'm looking at you Prince.) In the end they are only going to hurt themselves. So take a cue from these guys and Radiohead, and NIN, and even Madonna. Those big music Fat Cats only want you for your money. Break free and join us over here. It's way nicer. Category: general -- posted at: 12:18 AM Comments[0] |

Wed, 5 March 2008 I've been feeling nostalgic. Back in the Day I was part of an online comic called the Bullet Angelica. I think it's still up. But It got me thinking that there are videos that we made based off the mythology. We have the promo that Jeff and I made to bring traffic to the site. Check them out I'm proud of them. Then we have the mini movie that I helped out on. Category: general -- posted at: 8:25 PM Comments[0] |

Thu, 28 February 2008 Last night I put up a new post on the Blog. I've decided to put myself out there. If I'm going to do this new media thing I should really do it. I thought that blogging was a good place to start.
The podcast isn't going away. This way if something comes to mind to rant about I don't have to worry about writing it down so I can rant about it later.
So here I am world. Let's do something cool. Category: general -- posted at: 10:59 AM Comments[1] |
Thu, 28 February 2008 I'm going to try to post more often as a normal blog to go along with the podcast. On this Week in Tech they had Jonathan Coulton on to talk about his success as an independent musican. Much of what he talked about applies to what the podcast community is trying to achieve. But he also talked about the song he wrote for the ending of the game "Portal" which was included with the Orange Box. This song is going to be on a future download for the music simulator Rock Star. At Jonathan's latest show in San Francisco he played the game on stage with Tech Celebs: Leo Laporte from This Week in Tech Veronica Belmont from Maholo Daily and Merlin Man from 42 folders. Watch it. It's a great song. Category: general -- posted at: 12:55 AM Comments[0] |
